played in the Coomonwealth Games 2006 and received a Bronze Medal.

She also plays for Mavericks and played in the Chelmsford League season 2003-4

Jo Harten

(England Shooter)

Played in the World Cup 2007 and also plays for Loughborough Lightning. She played for Mavericks and played in the Chelmsford League season 2006-7

Umpiring

The list of umpires is in the current Chelmsford & District Netball League Handbook.  Please book your umpires using this list with plenty of notice before games, using a suitably qualified umpire for your division:

DIVISION 1 - “B” AWARD & ABOVE UMPIRES ONLY

DIVISION 2 - minimum 1 x “B” and 1 x “C” or above

DIVISION 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 - minimum 2 x “C” or above    

DIVISION 10 - minimum BEGINNER AWARD and above

DIVISION 11 & 12 - Umpires without any qualification may umpire with an aim to pass a test later in the season.    

If your game is cancelled - don't forget to tell your umpire!

COURSES

The Senior and Junior Leagues will be running courses this year so there should be something for everyone, so no excuses! All courses will be indoors, the venues and cost to be confirmed. If there is sufficient demand it may be possible to run a course during the week. For a form and info for the following courses please contact
